Privacy policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This policy explains, in plain English, what personal data SpeakPro collects when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can ask of us at any time.

SpeakPro is a Brazilian company, so this policy follows the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Brazil's data protection law, number 13.709/2018.

Who is responsible for your data

SpeakPro Ltda.

CNPJ 49.527.910/0001-16

Privacy contact: hello@speakpro.work

We are the controller of the data, meaning we decide what is collected and what for. If you write to that address with a request about your data, we answer within 15 days.

What data we collect

Data you give us

  • Name, email and phone number, when you fill in a form on the site or talk to us on WhatsApp.
  • Answers and voice recordings, if you take the SpeakPro 360º Check-up, our speech test. What happens to your voice is explained in "Your voice in the 360º Check-up".
  • Purchase data, if you enrol in the training. Payment happens entirely on Hotmart, and we never see or store your card number.

Data collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, language and operating system, which every server records in order to deliver the page and defend itself from attacks.
  • Pages visited, time spent and where the visit came from, if you accept the measurement cookies.

Your voice in the 360º Check-up

The 360º Check-up is an English speech test. In some steps you record your voice (and, in the teleprompter, your camera). Your voice is personal data, and when it is used to reproduce your timbre it may count as biometric data. So we handle it carefully and do only what is described here, with your explicit consent, given before you start.

What stays in your browser

Your audio recordings are kept in your own browser (local storage), together with your answers and your profile scores, so you can come back to the test if you reload the page. The teleprompter video stays only in the tab's memory and disappears when it closes. You can erase all of it any time by clearing the site data or clicking "Start over" or "Retake the test". Until you request the report, no recording of yours is stored on our servers.

What leaves your browser, and why

  • Transcription. The recordings from the reading, the teleprompter and the free speech are sent to OpenAI (Whisper, in the United States) only to be turned into text. That is how we show what the machine understood and measure pace, pauses and hesitations. Under the OpenAI API data policy, what is sent through the API is not used to train its models, and the transcription endpoint does not keep the audio after responding.
  • Voice simulation. With your permission, the recordings go to ElevenLabs (United States), which creates a temporary clone of your timbre and generates the simulation audio: your voice reading the same text with adjusted pronunciation and with a native speaker's delivery. We delete the clone from our account as soon as the simulation is ready, or within 10 minutes at most if something fails along the way, and we also delete the generated audio from the account history. Under the ElevenLabs retention policy, deleted items may remain in backups for up to 30 days and in moderation logs; voice cloning is not covered by its zero retention mode. The generated audio goes back only to your browser and disappears with the tab.
  • Live recognition. While you speak in the "About you" step, the text on screen comes from your own browser's speech recognition (Chrome, Edge and Safari send the audio to the browser maker for that). That follows your browser's privacy policy, not ours.

These services are outside Brazil. The transfer is necessary to do what you asked for and happens with companies that offer contractual safeguards compatible with the LGPD.

What we keep, if you ask for the report

At the end of the test you can leave your name, email and WhatsApp to receive the report. Then we store those contacts together with your profile (the four scores, your answers in each step, your answers about confidence and goals, and the speech measures, such as words per minute) in a Google spreadsheet of ours, and we use those contacts to send you the report and talk to you about the test, by email or WhatsApp. At that moment, and only then, your audio recordings (reading, teleprompter and free speech) and their transcripts are also stored, in our storage at Cloudflare (United States), with access restricted to the SpeakPro team, so that a person on the team can listen to your speech, prepare the conversation with you and look at your test again if you come back to us. We keep those recordings for 6 months, for possible future reference, and then delete them; before that, we delete them whenever you ask. If you do not leave your contact, nothing from the test reaches us.

Your before-and-after link, if you create one

At the end of the voice step (and in the report) you can create a link to show your before and after to someone. This only happens if you click "Create my link". We then store, in the same Cloudflare storage, up to three sentences of your reading in two versions (your recording and the simulation) and your first name, and anyone with the link can listen to those sentences. Nothing else goes with it: no score, no report, no contact details. The link stays up for 24 hours, or until you delete it first, with the "Stop sharing" button on the page itself or by writing to us. Think before you send it: we do not control who the link is forwarded to afterwards.

What you do not have to accept

Without consent the test does not start, because the voice simulation is its core. But inside the test you can skip recording in any step (the test goes on, just without that measure), and you can deny the microphone and camera in your browser at any time. To withdraw consent later, just write to us: we delete your contacts, your profile and the stored recordings.

Cookies and third party services

A cookie is a small file kept in your browser. On this site we split them into two groups.

The necessary ones

They make the site work and do not ask for permission. Today there is only one: the one that stores your answer about cookies, so we do not ask again on every page.

The optional ones

They only load after you click "Accept" on the banner that shows up on your first visit. Until you accept, nothing is loaded from those services, not even the address of the page you are on.

  • Google Analytics, by Google, to know how many people visit the site and where they came from.
  • Meta Pixel, by Meta Platforms, to measure the Instagram and Facebook ads.
  • Instagram and Threads, both by Meta, to show our videos and posts here on the page.
  • Hotmart, which opens the payment window on top of the site.

You can change your choice whenever you want, through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page, or by clearing the site data in your browser.

Two services that always load

Google Fonts delivers the brand typography and YouTube hosts our videos. YouTube videos only load when you hit play, and we use the cookieless mode. Neither one sets an advertising cookie here, but both receive your IP address in order to deliver the content.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the people who need it for the site to work:

  • Hotmart, which processes payments and hosts the student area.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this site.
  • Google, which keeps, in a spreadsheet of ours, the contacts and profile of people who ask for the 360º Check-up report.
  • OpenAI and ElevenLabs, which transcribe and simulate your voice in the 360º Check-up, only with your consent and as described in "Your voice in the 360º Check-up".
  • Google and Meta, for measurement and ads, if you have accepted the cookies.
  • Apple, which hosts our email.
  • Public authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these services sit outside Brazil, so your data may be processed in other countries. When that happens, we choose companies that offer protection guarantees equivalent to the ones required by the LGPD.

How long we keep it

  • Contacts and leads: until you ask for deletion, or for 2 years without interaction.
  • 360º Check-up recordings: we do not keep them. They stay in your browser until the tab closes.
  • Voice clone at ElevenLabs: deleted as soon as the simulation is ready, or within 10 minutes.
  • Student data: for as long as the training access lasts, plus 5 years, because of tax obligations.
  • Access logs: 6 months, as required by Brazil's Marco Civil da Internet.

Your rights

The LGPD guarantees that you can, at any time:

  • Find out whether we process data about you and ask for access to it.
  • Correct incomplete or wrong data.
  • Ask for the deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent.
  • Ask us to tell you who we shared your data with.
  • Withdraw your consent, at no cost to you.
  • Ask for your data to be carried over to another provider.
  • Object to processing you consider irregular.

To exercise any of them, write to hello@speakpro.work. We may ask you to confirm your identity before answering, precisely so that we do not hand your data to someone else.

Security

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to the data is restricted to people who work at SpeakPro and need it in order to serve you. Even so, no system on the internet is 100% immune, and we commit to telling you and the ANPD, Brazil's data protection authority, if an incident happens that could put you at risk.

Children and teenagers

The training is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18 without their guardians' permission. If that happens by mistake, write to us and we delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change anything relevant here, the date at the top changes with it. If the change affects how we use your data, we tell you on the site or by email.

Still have a question about your data? Write to hello@speakpro.work or message us on WhatsApp at +55 (41) 98722-9800.
